When a parent loses a baby, often times they do not know where to start or do not realize that there is support out there. We feel like it is extremely important for all parents of loss to have as many resources as possible available to them. Below are some of the organizations we have personally worked with one-on-one.
STILLBIRTHDAY
Stillbirthday Global Network is an internationally trusted benevolent organization whose philanthropic mission is simply to doula: to nurture sources of perinatal bereavement, strengthen skills of healthcare professionals and increase healthy engagement of perinatal related needs among communities. Stillbirthday is founded on the non-discriminatory mandate to love, to the best of our ability, in all situations. Members of the stillbirthday community are diverse and autonomous, each committed to exemplifying the advancement of loving service which our Principles of Service frames. Stillbirthday is founded as an auspice of Christian Childbirth Services LLC.

MY TANGIBLE PEACE
Creating a tangible peace for the heart. Hand sculpted, one-of-a-kind, art dolls made from polymer clay. Intended for families who have experienced the loss of a child and want a personalized keepsake, and for child birth & bereavement educators.
PROJECT ROBBY
Project Robby provides parents who have lost a baby something special to hold onto when they are no longer able to hold their baby with a bereavement set(hat/blanket/angel wing) that is the appropriate size of their angel baby.
PROJECT BEAR
Project B.E.A.R. gives teddy bears to anyone grieving the loss of a baby. Bears are donated through hospitals or directly to individuals who request them. There is no charge for the bears.
SOUTHERN GRACE ANGELIC GOWNS
S.G.A.G. transforms donated wedding dresses into burial garments, known as Angelic Gowns, for babies that are stillborn or die shortly after birth. These Angelic Gowns are given to grieving parents at no charge through hospitals, funeral homes, and individual family requests.
SEW SWEET ANGEL GOWNS
Their team collects donated wedding gowns to create beautiful tiny burial gowns for babies of loss.
MY MISSING PEACE
My Missing Peace offers custom handmade hearts with babies gestations 5-12 weeks. These allow comfort for mothers who never got to hold their baby and also gives them a beautiful memorial piece. ACHING ARMS (UK BASED)
Aching Arms is a charity that gives its comfort bears to hospitals and hospices, for midwives and nurses to offer to bereaved parents in their care. Along with the bears, we also offer a support service to parents after their loss, whether it was during pregnancy, at birth or soon after.
HOPE AFTER LOSS
Hope After Loss, Inc. helps those who experience pregnancy and/or infant loss to find the inspiration of hope by providing connections, comfort, and care. Also providing support groups for the Connecticut area and local events.
STILL REMEMBERED PROJECT
The Still Remembered Project provides bereaved parents and families Christian-based support and encouragement for a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Our efforts offer hope and healing throughout all stages of the grief journey. We accomplish this mission by: – Educating local medical and bereavement communities, – Providing remembrance keepsakes to families, – Holding awareness events, and – Hosting a monthly peer support group meeting for bereaved mothers.
